How does the change in frequency of bird calls in specific urban areas effect the evolution of birds? Will having multiple frequencies cause different species to form due to divergent evolution?

Rachael, A neat question and I’m curious as to what you will find! Keep your eyes open for the debate you will be entering–do some people think this type of evolution is happening and others not? (obvs. all reputable scientists in both cases.) — Or is it just accepted that this will happen and so what is the debate?
Or do you want the larger debate to be about human harm to ecosystems due to noise pollution, with your birds offering a new piece of evidence that allows us to analyze this controversy in a new way?
