Hi Patrick, Nice narrowing here. You may need to choose aphasia or Parkinson’s, depending what you find, or broaden to speech disorders (depends on how much is out there). Think about the broader debate that you’re entering. Obviously if it helps we should use it and if it doesn’t we shouldn’t. What you’re going to need to do is identify the debate about this topic–you could even widen your consideration to consider the bigger relationship between music and the brain, finding out what experts agree on and disagree on there—then you could use your case study of music/speech disorders to say something fresh about the brain-music or brain-arts debate.
